Kid’s Birthday Parties on Zoom!

All Fired Up is now offering Pottery Painting Birthday Parties on Zoom!

Through our Zoom account, you can invite all of your children’s friends to paint together and socialize while staying safe at home. One of our trained instructors will be there to guide the party. They will explain how the paints work, answer questions, and give a tour of our studio and kiln room. And of course, we will sing Happy Birthday!

This is a great way to celebrate a special child in your life and give them a fun activity to do with their friends while staying safe at home.

How to Sign Up

Apply for a birthday party through the form below.*
On the form you will select which pottery pieces everyone will be painting and 4 paint colors. Everyone will receive the same colors.
Once we process your application, we will call you to confirm details and take payment for the reservation fee over the phone.
Next, the host of the party can have the pottery and painting supplies delivered to them, or pick up in store. The host will then be responsible for getting the supplies out to the party guests.
Zoom information will be sent to the host to be shared with party guests as well.
Payment for the pottery, their kits, and delivery (optional) will need to be paid before or on the day the pottery is received so we can confirm the number of kits needed.

*Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee availability of time slots or pottery choices if the party request date is within 2 weeks of receiving the request. We recommend requesting your party 2 weeks ahead of the requested party date for us to best assist you. A time slot will not be reserved until the reservation fee is paid.

How It Works the Day of the Party

Our Zoom parties are 1 hour events.
Once all of the party attendees have logged on using the Zoom Meeting ID and password, our instructor will go through an introduction and the painting process.
Then we paint!
During the session the instructor can demonstrate painting techniques and answer questions at any point.
Later in the session our instructor will give a tour of the kiln room and walk everyone through the firing process.
If the parents so wish, we would be happy to lead everyone in singing Happy Birthday to finish off the event!
We can transfer hosting of the Zoom meeting to you at the end so your participants can chat for another 40 minutes.

What to Do After the Party

Once the party is over, the pottery will need to be returned to the studio they came from for firing.
This can can be done either by the host returning all of the pottery or individuals can drop off their pottery to the store without the host’s involvement. If someone chooses to drop off individually, they will just need to let us know which birthday party they were a part of.
Once the pottery is dropped off, we will give you a pick up date to let you know when you can return for the finished master pieces!

Age Range Suggested

Any age range is welcome, but please keep in mind if your child and their friends are able to sit at a computer, or if they would need assistance from an adult. The instructor will be there to guide the group just like they would in our store, but if they are younger than 6, we ask that a parent be close by to help.

Pricing

$75 Reservation Fee (This reserves your Zoom time slot and provides an instructor)
The price of the pottery x the number of guests painting
$4 per paint kit (Includes brushes and 4 paint colors) x the number of guests painting
Optional: $20 Delivery fee for DC or Montgomery county. Delivery fee may increase if outside of these locations.
