Dear Friend,
As the owner, these studios are my "homes away from home"! Below I offer just a few reasons to come in and share these exciting spaces with me.
Reason 1: All Fired Up is a local, family business.I am not part of a large franchise operation. I was born and raised in the DC area and majored in art and education in college. My dream was to open a studio to combine my love of art with teaching children and adults the joy of self-expression.
I don't charge an additional price for studio time because my philosophy is that you cannot put a time limit on individual creativity. Kids and adults need different amounts of time depending on the size of the piece and complexity of the design. By charging one price, including instruction, paints, studio time, glazing and firing, you can express maximum creativity without "watching the clock."
I am not tied to any one supplier so I'm able to select the highest quality items from across the nation. Also, I can research and order any specialty items you may wish to paint. Challenge my research -- I haven't been stumped yet!
You join for free and for every $200 spent on pottery or mosaics you will receive a special $20 credit towards your next purchase. Parents tell me it's great for bonding and communicating with their children. Kids especially love this idea because they can carry their own VIP card with pride.
Our WALL OF FAME recognizes the creativity of people and is reflective of different ages and levels of experience. When a piece is selected by the staff, it's placed on the shelf in the window for all to see. At pick up, we will give you a special magnet which says, "My Piece was on the Wall of Fame" with our logo. We used to take a picture of the person and their piece that we displayed as well. The photos have been Archived in photo albums. You will enjoy this exhibit!
See you soon!
